Glamping is where stunning nature meets modern luxury, an authentic way to connect with nature. Call it luxury camping or glamorous camping - a versatile way to connect and learn about the magic of the outdoors!

Enjoy our unique glamping experience in beautifully hand-hewn, made in the USA, wooden Conestoga Wagons. You can’t beat our beautiful Cape Fear River views, with kayaking and river tubing activities, and hiking at nearby Raven Rock State Park. Lost Paddle Pizza restaurant right next-door, community fire pit and grill, and easy access to amenities around town make this a truly exceptional experience! All this is just a short drive away from Raleigh, Fayetteville, Durham, and their surrounding areas. We’re located in the charming small town of Lillington, North Carolina.

Each wagon has a king size bed, 2 bunks, table, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. A/C unit, heat, wifi access, community fire pit, grilling area and Cape Fear River views for every stay!

Inside and outside wagons

Each wagon is located on the banks of Cape Fear River and it has a King-sized bed and 2 bunkbeds, electricity, air conditioning and heat! In addition, you'll find fast WiFi access, coffee maker, fridge, and microwave in each wagon. Community bathhouse with toilets, sinks and showers is located in a standalone building on the property couple hundred feet away from wagons, and it's reserved just for our wagon glamping guests. Community firepit with beautiful custom built stone seating area along with grilling area centrally located between the wagons.

Policies

Cancelations 14 days or more prior to the arrival will entitle you to a full refund of the money paid. Cancelations 13 to 7 days prior to the arrival will entitle you to a 50% refund. Cancelations less than 7 days prior to the arrival will be charged full amount without a refund.

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. All efforts will be made to have your wagon cleaned and ready by your check-in time, but at times we cannot guarantee the exact time of occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances. Please do not arrive before the check in time. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

Check-out: 11:00 AM. Check-out time must be met to allow cleaning to be completed for the next guest(s). Guests that occupy the property beyond 11:00 AM without prior approval will be charged a late check-out fee equivalent to $50.00 for each hour of occupancy beyond the checkout time.

Quiet Hours are from 10pm to 8am.

Absolutely NO SMOKING inside a wagon! Any signs of smoking inside a wagon will incur $250 fee in addition to any damage and cleaning fees.

Absolutely NO PETS! Presence of any pet will automatically forfeit the stay without a refund and incur $250 fee in addition to damage and cleaning fees.

Absolutely NO PARTYING on premises! Any partying or disruptive behavior towards other guests will result in forfeit of the stay without a refund and incur $250 fee in addition to any damage and cleaning fees.
Birthday celebrations, family reunions, holidays, graduations, you get an idea, those are teriffic celebrations to have at Cozy Heron. We just ask to be respectful to others!

Things to know before you Glamp!

This is glamping! It's different. Be open to new experiences, you might be pleasantly surprised :)

Sounds can be heard through wagon's canvas. Wagon's canvases are not a good sound barrier. We are located IN the town limits of Lillington, near Highway 421. Sounds of traffic, fellow glampers, and river activities can be heard from the property and inside of wagons.
Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am.

It gets busy. We offer river activities services next to the glamping resort. It gets busy in the summer time, especially on weekends! While we have reserved the glamping area for glampers ONLY, please expect to have other people around you and around the property during your stay.

We utilize dynamic pricing. The nightly rates can and do change based on variety of factors. We try to keep the variance to a minimum to be as fair as possible to all our guests! If the rate adjustment is made outside of the cancelation policy, we will adjust your rate upon request. Once you are within the cancelation policy time frame, we are not able to offer rate adjustments.

No cancelations due to weather or river conditions. Please refer to our Glamping Cancelation Policy (see Policies on this page). We are unable to reschedule or cancel your stay because of unfavorable weather or river conditions, even if we must reschedule your river activity.

No group rates. We don't offer group rates for glamping at this time.
