CFRA Ramp Use

Life jackets are required for every person accessing the river!

NO LIFE JACKET - NO RIVER - NO EXCEPTIONS

Ramp Access Rules

Ramp access is available during our normal hours of operation only.
You must check in at the cabin before using the ramp. You’ll be given a wristband to show a ramp assistant.
Pay $5/person per visit. 12 and under are free.
Private vehicles are prohibited from driving down the CFRA ramp. Boats should be unloaded at the marked unloading zone near the ramp gate. After boats and equipment are unloaded, please move your vehicle to the CFRA parking lot.
Every person MUST have a life jacket to access the river from our ramp. We do NOT rent life jackets but we have life jackets for sale.
No littering, leave no trace.
Absolutely NO GLASS containers.
No fishing from riverfront areas along the Cozy Heron Glamping, Cape Fear River Adventures, or Riverside Restaurant properties.
Pets must be on leash, clean up after your pets.
CFRA are not responsible for theft or property damage.

Ramp Fees

$5 per person per visit (children 12 and under are free)

Private Boaters

Private Boaters may access our private ramp during seasonal business hours, after checking-in and paying at the office. If you use our Shuttle Service your ramp fee is waived!

Private Tubers

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

If you would like to tube using CFRA’s private ramp in Lillington, you will need to reserve either:

These options include shuttle service, life jackets, river-trip and safety brief, on-water support from our CFRA Safety Boat, and do not require a separate ramp fee.

If you choose to use your own tubes without a CFRA reservation, you will need to use alternate public river access points located in Lillington and arrange all transportation independently. Please always choose safety by providing life jackets for all participants whenever you go out on the water. Life jackets save lives!
